I was hoping to listen to music at a lower volume while using other apps that require sound for their efficient functions. Sadly the music volume was matched to the settings for the other app, defeating the desired effect. Not sure what this app is meant to do other than drop the media volume for ad a priority for system or notification alerts. That is already available in the volume settings.

Custom app specific volume settings applied automatically without upsetting sound profiles of everything else. It compensates for apps that need but don't have independent volume capabilities. I used it and liked it a lot. It was brilliantly useful. And then in Android 14 it developed a bug. Finally an update as of February 4 2024 and the bug seems to be fixed. It does away with annoying constant changing and changing back of wildly different sound profile when using some apps.

As far as its function, it does its job. The only problem is that if you have a specific app you didn't use for +- 12 hours, then the volume control app will not automatically control the volume that you want it to adjust it to be. Besides the small problem, this app actually works quite well.
